Makings of a Malignancy

LOGO AND BRANDING

Together with his fellow researchers and Seraphim Escape, Dr Ken Dutton-Regester has created a cancer-themed puzzle / escape room. The puzzle room is an exciting, unique and fun way to educate the public about how a cancer cell works, and what makes cancer so difficult to treat.

I was very lucky to be chosen by Ken and his team to create the logo and initial branding for Makings of a Malignancy: The Journey of a Cancer Cell. It was important to communicate a message which immediately grabbed attention but stayed true to the theme - a mind maze with a mix of mystery.

This project was very important to me having lost my own mother to cancer. Makings of a Malignancy will open at Brisbane Science Week on August 16-18 2019, and it is hoped that the portable puzzle / escape room will be rolled out across museums and schools nation wide in the future.
