The branding process

Phase 1 - Design brief and pricing

I’m upfront, so once we’re in touch, I will send you through a design brief questionnaire. This will help me to understand your design requirements and more about your business and its vision. I’ll also send through my pricing, which will set out the package price options and details about obtaining a custom quote that is right for you and your business.

I like to get on the phone, FaceTime or Skype with you to have a quick chat. I find verbal (or even better, face-to-face) contact very important in establishing a strong working relationship and rapport. Your business and its needs are important to me, so I like to understand them as much as possible before I start. But I also know you’re busy, and I don’t like waffly bullshit, so I’ll keep it as brief as possible. Who likes unnecessary, time wasting meetings?

Phase 2 - Design process

Following your brief to me, I’ll prepare some mood boards which will help me to ascertain a “feel” for your branding. I’ll also do some initial concept sketches, which I will send through in addition to the mood boards for you to check out. It’s important for me to obtain your feedback upfront - that way, we can make sure we’re on the same page from the start.

After you’ve given me your feedback, I’ll finalise the concepts and any supporting elements for your further review.

Phase 3 - Revisions

Any revisions to the materials will be made following your feedback. The chosen design concept will be finalised along with any supporting elements, colour palette, typefaces and any other materials provided as part of your package.

Phase 3 - Final files and rollout

Your finalised files will be sent to you, along with any supporting materials. I can then provide you with an affordable solution to help you rollout your new, elevated branding into the world.
